The creation of the Caribbean Esports Federations Alliance

Continuing the growth of esports in the region. A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between 12 Caribbean and Latin American Esports Federations to form Caribbean Esports Federations Alliance (CEFA). The purpose of this MOU is to combine the efforts of all federations to be presented as a united entity. CEFA will be backed by many stakeholders and partners to accelerate growth.

The countries represented in this agreement are:
Jamaica (Headquarters)
The Bahamas
St. Lucia
Cuba
Curacao
Dominican Republic
Guadeloupe
Martinique
Suriname
Venezuela
Haiti

CEFA has its headquarters in Jamaica with leadership as follows:
President – Yaqui Nunez (Dominican Republic)
General Secretary – Gregory Moore (Jamaica)

The first activities for CEFA include hosting a regional Referee and Tournament organization workshop for the purpose of certifying organizers within each territory and hosting a CEFA 2020 championship.

We are expecting other countries to be part of this MOU as soon as official esports entities have been formed.

A CEFA Discord Server will be announced soon for all players from each territory to join.
